“He received all who came to him, and with complete assurance and without hindrance he proclaimed the Kingdom of God and taught about the Lord Jesus Christ.”
—Acts 28:31
Aren’t we called to do the same?
If we have a light should we put it under the table for it not to be seen?
Jesus is that light. If we know Him, then why aren’t we trying to show Him to the world?
While on earth, Jesus broke bread with Gentile and Jew.
All can be saved so we, as faithful Catholics, should try to mimic Peter in welcoming all and freely sharing what we know and how Jesus is alive more than ever!
Do you have friends or family members who are just spiralling downwards again and again instead of being lifted up?
Have you at least told them what Jesus has done in your life and that it is on offer for everyone? Even the worst of sinners.
I don’t know about you, but on Judgement Day I want to know that I invited everyone instead of hoarding Him to myself or making judgements that anyone is passed saving.
Remember too that, it won’t be you that brings anyone to Jesus but rather it will be the Holy Spirit working through you.
Not sure where to start?
Call on the Holy Spirit to help you.
You don’t have to be great with words or have knowledge of all scripture.
Speak to what you know is the Truth.
Could today be the day?
Cooperate with grace and you will do great things for the Lord.
Prayer
Come, Holy Spirit, fill the hearts of your faithful and enkindle in them the fire of your love. Send forth your Spirit and they shall be created. And you shall renew the face of the earth.
