“Come to me, all who labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28

In all your labours and troubles, you are seen. He is with you, waiting gently for you to rest in Him.

It may seem there is no extra time to sit quietly in His presence. Yet a passing thought, a small prayer, a genuflection, the brush of your hand against a crucifix on the wall, or simply calling His name — these are all ways you receive sustenance from Him.

Today, allow yourself to be yoked to Christ, and loosen the burdens you have tightened around yourself. He has already carried what you cannot. He did this for you.
